“ Nicely decorated for the holidays. This place gives a nostalgic diner feel with a wide selection of food. We tried the Rockefeller omelette and it was huge and tasted great! The side of fruit was nicely refreshing. We also tried the wet chicken burrito and it was good. We will be back for more. ”

“ Do you ever have a meal that gives you a little bit of hope that the world is an okay place? Well, my breakfast here did just that. I'm not ever in this area, but needed to fill my time so decided to have breakfast and do some work. Most days breakfast for me is coffee and toast, coffee and a breakfast bar, coffee... you get the picture. I ordered Maria's Chorizo omelette, with a side of hash browns. The omelette actually has hash browns in it, but I'm a potato aficionado, so bring on the potatoes! It was a life-changing omelette. I mean, so good that I kept eating until I could feel stretch marks forming on my sides. The mole on top reminded me of the enchilada sauce my grandma used to make, so rich and flavorful. The portion size is huge, this could easily feed two people or I guess one extremely hungry person. I overdid it a bit, but I could not stop taking another bite. The staff here are super sweet, this is a diner that feels a bit frozen in time, but not in a bad way. You come here for a good meal, friendly service, where everybody knows your name kind of vibe. If you're driving through Antioch and looking for a breakfast spot, stop here! Order Maria's omelette or one of the other ones, there's a generous number of items on the breakfast menu. ”

“ Oh wow!!!! The pancakes here are no joke, I think these are the largest pancakes I have ever seen! I had the 3 egg and sausage patty breakfast with a side of fruits (massive!) and side of biscuits&gravy (yummmmm!!) for about $18. It is a large amount of food! Staff here were super friendly and they automatically split our bill (we had 8 people in our party) and I've never seen that before. Sylvia's is a very relaxed, patriotic, friendly place to eat, and I throughly enjoyed it! ”

“ If you want to know what a restaurant looked like in the 80's this is the spot. Time hasn't passed by at this classic restaurant beloved by our community. The food prices are average $25 per person, they serve breakfast and lunch, big portions tho, all the breakfast you can order them as burritos, omelettes or quesadillas. Is a fusion of traditional American cuisine and Mexican mole :) Customer service is good There's parking right outside and electric car chargers. ”

“ First time at this restaurant. Friendly people. Food was excellent. We ordered the egg and sausage breakfast meal and the roast beef sandwich with cheese, onions and mushroom. Eggs were done to perfection and the fruit was perfectly ripe. Both of us loved the roast beef sandwich. The beef was so tender, and with the addition of the cheese, mushroom and onions put it over the top. Fries were nice and crispy and hot, Quantity was large and quality was great. We will definitely be returning when we're in the Antioch area again ”

“ Parking lot was full, decor is old school and clean. I had an omelette I asked for the eggs not to be cooked hard and it came out perfect. I believe I had the dale's omelette which came with Bacon and veggies. I also had the grits which were not runny and not dry. Really good. And the silver dollars pancakes I waited a while to eat those so the weren't the freshest but still good all and all. Good food good servings for the price you pay ”

“ I still love this restaurant! The staff are WORLD CLASS! I come here for the tasty food, I keep coming back for the stellar service. Hostesses and waitresses are fast and very friendly! Both hostesses are amazing. We like sitting at one of Debb's tables, she is so great at what she does! But again, the waitresses as a whole are wonderful! The cooks are holding up their end as well! The portions are large and the prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality. I really enjoy the bran muffins and oatmeal, though most everything I've tasted here is great. The restaurant is large with a large parking lot. The booths are comfortable. The ambiance is that of a classic American breakfast diner in the best way! And I personally love seeing their seasonal decorations!! They are the cutest and something I look forward to seeing. We will be back! ”
